9 notes    #movies2012   #skyfall   #the first half of the movie was unimpressive and i was almost regretting the decision to go see it   #but then it started to get better and the third act was a m a z i n g   #the cinematography alone gave me so many feels   #also this movie was strangely harry potter-ish   #new MI-6 headquarter resembled ministry of magic   #Scottish landscape and the old house reminded me of Hogsmeade   #not to mention that the whole James-M-Silva dynamic was preeetty similar to Harry-Dumbledore-Voldemort's   #i'm sure it wasn't intentional but still that's all i could think of by the end   #also it was probably the most british of all the bond movies [that i've seen]
